Hi, im james a first year university student, studying computer sceince, at the university of Hull. So far i have completed the first year. Studying modules in programing, algorithms and data structures as well as computational thinking (the mathmatical functions that underpin computer science). As a person i outside of my degree i love the outdoors, espeicaly water sports, such as canooing, stand up paddle boarding, ext. Within computer science i perticulary enjoy looking at how a user interacts with a system and how that a layout of a program can effect the outcome of a users interactions.
Curranty studying for my bachelor's in computer science at the University of Hull. Through my degree, i will study a wide range of topics including modules based on programming, the mathematical principles behind computer science as well as artificial intelligence to name a few.
The capstone project is a project that tests my competency as a
programmer. The aim of the assignment is for me to demonstrate my ability to both solve the
problem but to also do it in a way that requires me to use the four points of object
orientated programing. These being Encapsulation, Polymorphism, Inheritance and abstraction.
This project is part of my Programing Portfolio Year 1 module.
The Microsoft AZ-900 exam looks at some of the key principles surrounding microsoft AZURE.
Part of my Computer science A-Level coursework i was challenged to go through the full development cycle using parts of adgile programing and waterfall. Through this i developed a booking system for an activity center.
